Landscape Architects Unite! Join The Understory on 8.17 and tell YOUR story!
UPDATED August 16th 2011 - New events added below:
From Alaska to Florida and everywhere in between, landscape architects across the country will hold simultaneous events at lunchtime to educate the public about their role in the environment around them. The Saint Louis Chapter of American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) will host local landscape architects who will create chalk drawings, hand out information and be available to answer questions downtown at the Citygarden.
Landscape architects design iconic places like New York City’s Central Park and the FDR Memorial in Washington, D.C., but also downtown squares, local parks and even backyards. The simultaneous events are part of a larger campaign to help bring awareness to works of landscape architecture and the designers who create them.
